About Dr. Brian Berliner ...
Dr Brian Berliner maintains two cutting edge Optometric practices on Long Island for over 25 years. Dr. Berliner provides comprehensive eye health and vision care for patients of all ages. He is board certified to treat and manage eye disease and vision disorders for patients starting at infancy continuing through geriatrics.
Dr. Berliner received his B.S. from City College of N.Y. in 1978 and his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago in 1983.
Dr. Berliner subsequently completed a post-Doctoral Residency affiliated with the SUNY College of Optometry and the Northport V.A. Medical Center on Long Island. During his residency he gained extensive experience and expertise in primary eyecare, vision therapy, and low vision rehabilitation.
Dr. Berliner's special interests are in the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases including strabismus (misaligned or crossed eyes), amblyopia (lazy eye), acquired brain injury (TBI), low vision, vision therapy, accommodative and convergence dysfunctions and visually related learning/ perceptual disabilities.
Dr. Berliner is uniquely trained and thereby certified as a low vision specialist by the NYS Commission for the Blind. He has certification in corneal refractive therapy by Pargaon. He also has earned the American Optometric Recognition Award for Continued Education.
Dr. Berliner's professional affiliations include being a long standing member of the American Optometric Association, NYS Optometric Association, The American Academy of Orthokeratology, and the College of Optometrists in Visual Development.

Dr. Robert Grzesiak
Dr Robert Grzesiak (aka Dr. G.) has been practicing Optometry in his hometown on Long Island for almost 13 years. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree from The Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1998 with clinical honors. Prior to optometry school Dr. G earned his bachelorate degree from Siena College in upstate New York.
During his clinical training he was fortunate to extern at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute which has been rated the #1 eye hospital in the country as published in U.S. News & World Reports.
Dr. G volunteered on a humanitarian mission to Peten Region of Guatamala serving the visual needs of thousands of underpriveledged.

Dr. Gina Horowitz
Doctor Gina Horowitz has been practicing on Long Island for over sixteen years. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Binghamton University in 1990, and her Doctor of Optometry degree from the State University of New York College of Optometry in 1994.
Doctor Horowitz is the recipient of the Class of 1991 Pacesetter Award for Excellence in Primary Care. This is the highest award one can receive as a clinician at the State University of New York College of Optometry. During her clinical training, she was a member of S.V.O.S.H.(Student Volunteers for Optometric Services for Humanity) and has volunteered in homeless shelters in New York City. She also provides eye exams through the OneSight program which offers comprehensive vision examinations to patients at no charge who are uninsured and demonstrate financial need.
Doctor Horowitz completed an internship at the Rusk Institute of Rehabilitative Medicine at New York University. She also completed an internship at the Northport V.A. Center in Rehabilitative Optometry.
Doctor Horowitz is certified in corneal refractive therapy, and the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases. She is a contact lens fitting specialist.
Doctor Horowitz is a post-operative LASIK patient herself and has co-managed numerous patients that have undergone this procedure.
As a marathon runner, skier, boater, and sports enthusiast, Doctor Horowitz has treated many athletes for their unique vision care needs.
Doctor Horowitz happily lives with her husband, daughter and son. She strives to treat each patient as if they were her own family member. She provides professional care for those who seek her services with concern and compassion.
